Personal Trainer
Background:
Scott is a lifetime sport devotee who has avidly participated in various sports throughout Alberta, and the sunny Okanagan. Originally from Red Deer, AB, Scott has made Kelowna his home, and since has offered his unique training styles and concepts to numerous athletes in the valley. Scott’s background is most strongly represented by hockey, where he was fortunate enough to compete at the Junior “A” level in the AJHL and the OHA. After competing, Scott directed his focus to the development of elite athletes, as well as aiding in functional fitness practices to the public, and now has been actively training in the industry for over 7 years.
Presently, Scott serves as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the Vernon Viper Junior A Hockey Team throughout the season, and throughout the summer months works with numerous players from across Western Canada. Scott has worked with various practices throughout western Canada, including Can-Pro Athletic Training Center (Red Deer, AB), Twist Conditioning (Kelowna and North Vancouver, BC), and Skillz High Octane (Calgary, AB). He has also been involved in numerous national and provincial seminars geared towards specific training and coaching aspects.
Scott has worked with various athletes through professional, college/university, junior, and amateur levels. His extensive experience and knowledge in the specific training style and practices of athletes involves unique training systems combining explosive concentric output, eccentric braking, neuromuscular activation, resistance training, core specific, plyometric, and cardiovascular helps compliment any program needs. His passion for the development of key systems in the athletes mind and body has adapted players of various ages to perform at their highest potential.
Scott is eagerly anticipating working with any willing individual, and challenges those interested to participate in a demanding, yet highly rewarding paradigm.
